Belarus, Israel coordinate plans in key areas of cooperation
MINSK, 18 September (BelTA) — Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to Israel Yuri Yaroshevich held a meeting with Deputy Director General for Eurasia at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yuval Fuchs on 18 September, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the current state of Belarusian-Israeli relations and specified plans for the near and medium term in key areas of cooperation. In addition, an exchange of views took place on the situation in the Middle East region.
Israel emphasized the significant efforts of Belarus to preserve Jewish historical and cultural heritage, including the decision to establish a Holocaust and Resistance Museum in Novogrudok.
